Members of a solidarity mission organized by the Socialist Party (India) visit a village in Baramulla district, where several houses and shops were damaged during the military confrontation between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The aim of the delegation—comprising Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs—was to listen to those directly affected and to gain an understanding of both the material damage and the socio-political consequences of the violence.
Despite the traumatic events experienced, the ongoing tensions, and the sense of marginalization among the communities visited, the delegation observed a strong desire for meaningful dialogue and peace efforts to enable a life of dignity and security for all people in the region.
